POSITIONING · TIRANA

Why we hire in Tirana.

Adsolution could have been built in Milan, Barcelona, or Berlin. We chose Tirana on purpose. Here is the operator logic behind that decision, and what it means if you are considering the move.

The Western European math.

A performance marketing team in Milan, Barcelona, or Berlin costs roughly two to three times what the same team costs in Tirana. The difference is not skill. The difference is cost of living, payroll taxes, and the fact that the surrounding ecosystem has priced senior marketers as if they were a scarce resource.

If your business is COD ecommerce in Europe, the margin between your campaigns working and not working is razor-thin. A two to three times higher team cost is the difference between scaling and not scaling.

The Tirana operator math.

Tirana has a young, English-speaking, multilingual workforce. A senior performance marketer in Tirana earns a salary that is above-average for the local market and lets them live well. The same salary in Milan covers rent and not much else.

That asymmetry compounds. People who join Adsolution Tirana save more, can think long-term about their careers, and are not constantly being pulled back to the job market by cost-of-living pressure.

The Tirana operator earns above the local market and saves more than their Milan counterpart, while learning the craft at a real shop.

The career velocity argument.

Western European agencies are layered. There are senior media buyers, principal media buyers, group account directors, vice presidents of paid media. The hierarchy exists to protect the senior people and to slow down the rate at which juniors can be promoted.

Adsolution Tirana is operator-led. Six layers do not exist. A junior who joins and ships gets to senior in 18 months. The same person in a Milan agency might take five years.

If you are 27 and want to be running a team by 30, the Tirana math is undefeated.

Why this is not “outsourcing”.

Adsolution is not a back-office for Western European brands. We sell our own COD ecommerce products and run our own paid media end to end. The Tirana team is the company, not a cost center.

This matters for the kind of person who works here. We do not need execution arms. We need operators who make decisions.

Who this argument is for.

If you are Italian, Spanish, or German.

You are not giving up your career by moving to Tirana. You are accelerating it. You also keep direct cultural and linguistic access to markets we actively run, which makes you immediately useful.

The flight home is 60 to 120 minutes. The cost of going home for a long weekend twice a month is lower than your current grocery bill in Milan.

If you are Albanian diaspora.

The “I went abroad for a real career” trade-off no longer applies. The work is global from Tirana. The salary is competitive. You can come home and not give anything up professionally.

Many of our team are returnees. They will tell you it was the right call.

The honest counter-arguments.

  • Albania is not in the EU. It is a candidate country and visas are straightforward for EU citizens, but the bureaucratic experience is different from Schengen-internal travel.
  • Tirana is smaller than Milan or Barcelona. If the nightlife of a major Western European city is your primary criterion, Tirana is not the equivalent.
  • The performance marketing community is younger here. There are fewer industry meetups, fewer senior figures to bump into casually. The trade-off is that you become one of those people faster.

The bet, plainly.

Adsolution is betting that the best European performance marketing team in 2030 is the one that built its bench in Tirana between 2024 and 2027. We are hiring the people who are willing to take that bet with us.
